In a world where millions of people with a home computer call themselves "IT expert"; believing them can be costly.  You'll often hear us talk of "home computers" and "commercial-grade IT". Home computers, characterised by expensive closed source Operating Systems, are designed for entertainment and hobbies. Most of the standard software on a home computer just slows it down for business use. They simply don't cut-it as servers and are too bloated for serious business use.  It's a pity that most people still use them in business simply because they are not aware of the better, less expensive, faster, more secure alternative.  The myth that Linux is complex, expensive or 'only for boffins' became untrue over 10 years ago - despite the eagerness of vested interest to convince you otherwise. Android is a 'branch' of Linix. Home computers can be upgraded to Linux at zero cost and you can be free of the expensive burden of closed-source forever.  So, when bloatware kills your server or your desktop, don't ditch it; switch it - to Linux.
